January 16th-31st
Lots of cute videos! We finally figured out that if we take shorter videos then we can actually share them. We had several from the other months, but they too long and they wouldn't ever upload. So glad we can share them now!
These are just of Luke "talking" and smiling. So great!
Luke accompanied me to a Relief Society activity. Everyone loved him!
He's starting to enjoy the carrier more. He loves to see himself in the mirror.
Chatting with me while on our walk. Love how serious his face is.
Hanging out with dad!
Time for dad to go to bed, but Luke is on dad's side. he he :)
Giggling when I attack him with kisses!
Hanging out in the stroller while I blog.
More cute bath time pictures.
We bought Luke some Gdiapers, which are a type of cloth diapers. We wanted to see how they work and if it's something we want to really get into. We were getting discouraged with the price of disposalable diapers as well as the environmental impact. Here he is modeling the green.
Tummy time! He's getting so good at holding his head up!
Playing with mom! Oh how I love him!
Dancing with mom! Please excuse my frumpy mom clothes. One day I will wear cute clothes again.
Check out Luke's new shades from his grandparents in San Diego. He's lookin' cool!
Brian singing "The Office" theme song to Luke. Luke loves that song!
Happy Birthday to Brian! Brian turned 35 on January 28th. He requested pull-apart cake (or monkey bread) for breakfast. Yummy!
Luke enjoys craning his head back...strange.
Opening gifts!
Luke got Brian this awesome Star Wars shirt! Get it??? Funny!
We went out for pizza at a local place as we had a gift certificate. It was alright. We're trying to find a good "go-to" pizza place, so we've been trying them all out. Later that night we had cake. Brian went through some recipes that we had pulled from different magazines and settled on a pecan spice cake with a maple frosting. I made it. Here's how it looked.
It tasted good too! Happy Birthday to my Brian! Luke enjoyed celebrating too!
Luke playing with his arch nemisis "Octopus". They are constantly wrestling. So cute!
Then there are times that Luke just gives up the fight. ha ha
So, the next day Brian wanted another slice of his birthday cake, so I went to get him one and when I lifted the top off my cake stand, I noticed that the frosting had slide off the cake and part of the cake fell off and landed on the floor! What?
Here's a picture! Can you see the cake on the ground next to the fridge? So strange.
I guess the cake was warm with the cover on and it caused the frosting to slide off. Brian thankfully said it still tasted great!
Luke and "his Father"
Luke loves smiling in the mirror. He sure does think he's cute!
Sleeping on mom!
I put him in his pack and play to finish off his nap and Brian went to take pictures of our little relxed sleeper.
Is that an eyeball I see?
Oh hello! He's awake! Love the face!
I love my baby!
Strolling with the shades on!
I picked up Luke after drying him off and the towel stayed on his head. He looks so cute!
Giggling with dad!

Hi Jen! I noticed that you guys are trying the G diapers, we also want to do cloth diapers and are deciding between the G's and Grovia's. What do you think of the G's? Do they leak? Are they easy to change? I did notice they don't "grow" with the babies, instead you buy different sizes. Let me know what you think! Your baby is super cute by the way, I love looking at all the pictures of him!
Such cute pictures. I think you are obsessed with that little guy (and your big guy too.) That's great!
