April Part 2

April 16th-30th

It is our goal to really get caught up here so we don't have to do these crazy mega long posts.

We have neighbors across the street who have 2 little ones and they brought this piano over for Luke as their kids were done playing with it.  Luke loves it!

Here's Luke sitting.  I think he's getting the hang of it.

I love this picture of Luke.  Sadly, it's from my phone so the quality isn't perfect, but it's of Luke listening to Brian read the scriptures.  If Luke is awake when we read at night he listens intently.  In this picture he was supposed to be eating, but just had to watch and listen to Brian.

More fun with food.  I believe this is avocado.

Super baby!

We love our sweet baby!

He's such a ham!

My parents arrived on the 19th for a visit with Luke.  Luke was so happy to play with them.  They even baby-sat for us so Brian and I could go out to dinner.  It was nice to get out for a bit, but we sure did miss our little guy.

We bought Luke a super cool high chair.

I think our big boy is getting too big for his swing!  :(

Hanging out with Grandma

Cute smiles

Mom and Luke playing on the play mat.  Luke loves the cute baby in the mirror.

Luke started doing this strange thing with his eyes.  He'll close them and fake cough or just flutter his eyes.  He's so silly!

Skyping with Uncle Noah

We had dinner at the house and I made a new dessert that was delicious.  It's a Twix Brownie.  I got the recipe off Pinterest.  I love that site.

I definitely enjoyed it!  Yum!

Luke is watching a slide show of pictures of himself off grandpa's iPad.  He thought it was so cool!

Here we are a few days later and Luke still doesn't like food.  We started with Sweet Potatoes and then tried avocado and now we're trying squash.

Sitting in a bean bag while looking at model homes.

Lots of pics with the Grandparents before they leave.  :(

Sitting on the island.  Such a big boy!

Love this face!

Eating mom's leg.  Num Num

Playing with his spoon before trying out some pears...he did not like them.

But, he loves numing on mom's pear core.  Strange kid.

He also likes to chew on carrot sticks.

"Naw...what's up doc?"

Story time with dad.  "Hop on Pop"  I seriously love my boys!  They are the best!

Oh and a side note.  Yes Luke is just in a diaper in many of these pictures.  It's already hot here in Texas and he tends to get warm and sweaty so I just find it easier to keep him in a diaper when we in the house.  He does have clothes.  :)

Eating dad's shoelaces.  He loves those more than many of his toys.

Fell asleep while on a walk.

Brian finally found a way to get Luke to enjoy his pears.  Right from the jar.

Swinging in the park with mom

We are almost caught up!  Yippee!
