Honeymoon Part 6

Saturday June 12, 2010

Today was another lazy day!  Boy did we enjoy those!  We started the day off right...with a breakfast pastry, this time from a place called Beard Papa's where they have creme puffs!

I think we both look a little sleepy still.

We happened to be in Hawaii at a good time.  June 12th was King Kamehameha Day.  There was a parade in downtown Waikiki so we walked down to watch.

After the parade we decided to grab some lunch and hit the beach again.  It was another perfect day!

We wore ourselves out swimming so we headed back to the hotel to change and rest and then we went back to the International Marketplace.  We bought a couple of souvenirs and decided we wanted a cool drink.

Yes we are drinking from a pineapple.  These were really good.  Here's a video on how these drinks are made.

These drinks were so delicious and rich that we could barely move after drinking them.  We decided to take a little tour of the city on a Trolley that we could ride for free with our hotel key.  It was about an hour ride, but we got to relax and enjoy the air.  It was cooling off and it felt really good.

Brian wanted seafood for dinner since we were in Hawaii, so we found this awesome place that had dinners for a really good price.

I had steak and lobster tail (I decided it would be easier to see if I held it) with mash potatoes and veggies!  It was yummy!

Brian had shrimp and crab legs with mash potatoes, and veggies.  Brian was so excited to break open those legs and have himself a yummy dinner.

The crab meat was so good!

After dinner we decided we wanted dessert too, so we walked to the Cheesecake Factory to order us each a slice and brought it back to our room to eat on the balcony!  We wanted to take full advantage of that!

I had the chocolate cake cheesecake.  It was nice and rich!

Brian had the red velvet cheesecake.  It was delicious too!

It was the perfect way to end our relaxing day!
